Google to enter Instant Messaging market

For as much time as we spend online, this could get exciting.
Google to launch instant messaging program: report.
I've never been a fan of trillian, and it just seems that less and less contacts are available via MSN Messenger. So this might be a welcome upgrade.

On a side note, last nite i downloaded the google desktop tool... it has a great little Todo menu, a fun addition to my desktop. Now i can have a few less digital Post-it notes all over my screen. (tho i do still love the post-its, and they're free too).
