Nike bucks IAAF & Adidas

Logo permissions on athletic jersey's are still getting press. This article explains why Nike's athletes are assisting Nike's protest against their restrictions with the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), claiming that Adidas does not have the same restrictions. Basically, they are saying that the nike logo is marketing, while the adidas logo is a design feature (and frankly, visually, the adidas logo (original or performance) is much more inspiring than the tired swoosh for nike... but that is neither the point, nor is that fair reasoning)

This is in follow up to prior discussions here about FC Barcelona or the NBA Jersey discussion here & here on jaceanderson.com

I like the swoosh. Course, I am not sure if I own one, so maybe its marketing isnt that good.
