collections

collecting, a fascinating gambit in deed.
i collect things, most things, little things that interest me, and other items that remind me of times and places from the past, often my own past. These collections give me an opportunity to enliven conversations, a skill i can thank my father for.

This man tho, has managed to display his collections in a fantastic way, while i have plastic bins labeled and stacked one atop the other from floor to ceiling... obviously i will need to give further thought to how i might better display my wares.
We ARE working on our basement right now... i should show these pictures to renee for motivation and encouragement.

it has been an inordinate amount of time since my last post... maybe i'm the only one who's noticed... so i won't mention it at all. (i'm quite sure folks don't read this far into a blog post anyways... so my secret is safe.)
talk soon,

Coffee for a Cure

It's not as if i needed yet another reason to drink as much coffee as i do. In fact, i have arranged to sit down with a friend tomorrow morning and drink Kenyan AA coffee, straight from the bean. We brought a few beans back from Kenya with us recently. Just a few.
I'm prolific even, if that is correct usage of the english language. If not, that is ok too... i'm Canadian ;)

Wish i thought of that

I kind of wish i had thought of this, we would have enjoyed using one of our cats.
Thanks goes out to Evanier for the link.

Maybe we should record our answering machine messages and stream them online for you to hear? or you could just phone us and hope no one answers... that would work too.

It's rather obvious that, since returning from Africa, this blog has become a little strange, odd really. Therapy may be in order.

Irony and online gaming

/comments?

Anti-bribery

Pac-Man

Where do i start, it has been so long since i was on the internet for more than a quick note from Africa that, really, i'll need to take some time to get back into the swing of things. Patience folks, i'll get there... until then, try this game out...

Flash Pac Man online - tiny tiny small

You might recall i'm interested in vintage and retro games and systems. Pac Man is a big part of that, one of my first memories.
