League of Southern Alberta for World Dominance
Toastmasters was a hoot today. For those of you unsure of the term "hoot", i use it here to describe a "very good time indeed". Yeah, it was a hoot.
Working from my "Speaking to Inform" series, i crafted a 10 minute speech that had me addressing the League of Southern Alberta for World Dominance (which, to clarify, does NOT exist, except for the topic of my speech). The goal was to speak as if responding to a research question raised. The title of my speech was Empire How? and entailed a scathing commentary filled with Candies, Baubles & Napoleon Bonaparte (quite storied in classical world dominance).
I am available for speaking engagements... if you or your company would like to hear about HOW to rule the world, using the above three topics... it would be my pleasure (only half kidding).
