Phone notes

i *just* made a tough call to a client that i respect very much. i was nervous. i felt like i'd failed him, and that he would have been within his right to be angry.
Guess what? It went smoothly... it was clean.
i wrote a brief script of my thoughts... what i wanted to share over the phone call. That script was in front of me while i spoke...
Using this simple tool enabled me to retain my focus on solutions, not on wallowing in my own perception.
i'm not going to give you any more content or input regarding the call, or more importantly the script technique. It's not secret, or hard, merely a tool to use when necassary. It works...
